Privacy Policy

Information about website inquiries and the handling of personal information at AMC.

Scope and delivery of inquiries

ACE AUTOMOTIVE MOTORS CORPORATION (‘AMC’) explains in this policy how personal information is handled when you use our website or make a general inquiry, and how to exercise your rights. If an inquiry leads to a contract, quality-related work or a formal recruitment process, the relevant personal information arrangements will be explained separately.

The inquiry form does not submit or store your entries on the website server. It passes them to your email application, or copies them to your device’s clipboard when you select ‘Copy inquiry’. You must send the email yourself for AMC to receive it. Once received, AMC processes the personal information in that email.

Information and purposes

The form requires your name, email address, inquiry type and message. Company name and phone number are optional. Sending an email also transmits email information such as the sender address and sending time.

Information is processed as necessary to review and classify general inquiries, respond, conduct follow-up discussions and check correspondence history. Please do not send national identification numbers, health or financial information, unnecessary personal information or other people’s personal information. Recruitment inquiries are for guidance on the application process; there is no need to submit a résumé or supporting documents through this form.

You may make an inquiry without entering a company name or phone number, and browse the website without providing inquiry information. However, we may be unable to respond without a reply address or inquiry details. Reading this policy or using the website does not itself constitute consent to the processing of personal information.

Retention and deletion

General inquiries are retained from receipt until no later than 90 days after the response and follow-up discussions are completed. Information is deleted without delay if its purpose is fulfilled earlier and retention is no longer necessary, or upon a valid deletion or consent-withdrawal request. This is not a blanket requirement to keep every inquiry for 90 days.

The responsible person reviews whether retention is necessary and deletes the relevant information from managed mailboxes, trash folders and downloaded copies. Electronic records are deleted by methods that prevent restoration, and printouts are shredded or otherwise destroyed.

If a general inquiry becomes a separate contract, quality or recruitment record, the necessary information, purpose, retention period and legal basis are determined separately. Information that must be retained by law is kept separately only for the applicable legal basis and period. Such obligations are not used to justify long-term retention of all general inquiries.

External services and overseas processing

The website uses hosting and content delivery services from Vercel Inc. Inquiry form entries are not submitted to Vercel servers. However, the provider may process access information such as IP addresses, request times and paths, and browser information to deliver web pages and operate security services.

Vercel’s published agreement provides for processing in the United States and other countries where the provider or its subprocessors operate. The 90-day inquiry retention limit does not apply to Vercel access records.

An email service is used to receive and store inquiries. Using external services does not exclude AMC’s statutory obligations.

Cookies and automatically collected information

The current website application has no separately installed advertising trackers, visitor analytics tools or visitor-identification cookies. This does not mean that the hosting service generates no access or security records.

You may restrict or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please also check the privacy notices of websites you visit through external links and the email application you choose to use.

Other uses and third-party disclosure

Any use of inquiry information outside its stated purposes or disclosure to third parties requires an applicable lawful basis, such as separate consent or a statutory provision. Requests made under law are reviewed for the requesting authority, legal basis and necessary scope. Processing entrusted to service providers is described separately in the external services section.

Your rights and contact

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, suspension of processing, or withdrawal of consent. A legal representative or authorized agent may also submit requests. Identity or authority verification may be necessary.

Contact the Marketing Team below with your request and preferred reply method. We verify identity or authority only to the extent necessary and communicate the outcome within the procedures and time limits required by applicable law. If a request is restricted by law, we explain the reason.

If you enter information in the form but do not send the email, AMC has not received your inquiry. You may also seek privacy-related assistance or dispute mediation from Korea’s Personal Information Infringement Report Center or Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee.

Safeguards and policy changes

Inquiry emails are managed by one designated operator, with access limited to business needs. We do not operate a separate inquiry database that stores website form entries.

Changes to purposes, information, retention periods or external services will be announced on this page with their effective date. Where separate consent or notice is required, the applicable procedure will be followed. The Korean, English and Simplified Chinese versions describe the same practices; translation does not limit your statutory rights.
